1st Line Service Desk Engineer 

Excellent opportunity for a junior or experienced IT Support professional to join an IT Support and Consultancy business who support small to medium sized businesses in the Bury St Edmunds and East Anglia area. Due to expansion our client is looking for a talented IT support professional with service desk experience to join their talented team.

The successful candidate will be resolving first line issues which come into the service desk within a thirty-minute window, along with monitoring and managing ticket alerts generated by the RMM System. The post holder will be utilising their skill solving problems, supporting issues and diagnosing solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for identifying re-occurring tickets and implementing a permanent solution where possible. Those tickets that cannot be fixed will then be escalated to 2nd and 3rd line support engineers.

Our client is opening to a junior to experienced first line engineer, but they are looking for a hard-working individual who is continually looking to improve their skill set and work as part of team.

Responsibilities / Skills required:

·         Commercial experience supporting SME’s

·         Ability to support Microsoft Windows desktops in a domain environment

·         Basic level of Network and Server troubleshooting

·         Excellent Customer Service skills

·         Utilize skills in solving problems and support issues, diagnosing solutions

·         Resolve incoming issues to the Service Desk within a 30-minute budget

£16k to £23k depending on experience
