Junior Web Developer - PHP - Colchester

Are you a recent Computer Science or Software Engineering University graduate looking to take their first step into industry? The position will allow the successful candidate to work closely with the company’s lead developer to use the latest technologies and work on exciting in-house projects. 

The post holder will be a hungry individual who’s looking to learn and grow with a company, whilst having some experience with PHP, MySQL (or equivalent) and JavaScript.

Required Skills / Experience:
•    Experience with PHP (six months’ minimum professional experience, or one year’s hobbyist experience).
•    Experience with MySQL (or equivalent).
•    Awareness of front-end development techniques. You will be working closely with front-end developers, familiarly with their workflow is beneficial.
•    Experience with one other programming language (JavaScript ideal).
•    Ability to learn quickly, possessing a strong enthusiasm for technology.

Who will suit this role?
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent University graduate with a bachelor’s in software engineering or Computer Science. The client will also accept applications from candidates who have had a year or two industry experience.
